AlphaNet Canada’s mission is simple: to improve the lives of individuals in Canada affected by the genetic condition, alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (Alpha-1). We provide complimentary peer-to-peer disease management services to individuals diagnosed with Alpha-1 (known as “Alphas”). Because we employ Alphas who work as peer Coordinators, we are uniquely equipped to understand how Alpha-1 affects the lives of the Canadian Alphas we serve.
